Paradox mod removal without accesing the game
Hello Everyone,

After the updates, one of the mods I subscribed to on Paradox mod page within the game is no longer working and every time I launch the game, error message prevents me from deleting or unsubscribing from it - do you know if there is a way to unsubscribe without accessing the game menu?

It's already been 20 minutes, and I still can't bypass the automatic startup MOD, which is preventing me from entering the game.

This is from pdx forums:

If the error prevents you from getting into the game, there are a few options. You can add the launch option --disableCodeModding to Steam (make sure it's exactly like that). This disables mods so you can switch or adjust your Playset.

Alternatively, you can log into Paradox Mods through the browser and remove the problem mod(s) from your Playset.

So try adding --disableCodeModding to the launch command for the game and see if that works.

I did all these to solve the problem:
go to AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\.cache\Mods, choose folder "mods_subscribed", delete the folder 74151, and then go back to Mods folder, choose "playsets_metadata", open each (hope not too many) file with notepad, delete the line about 74151, and start the game. (74151 is actually the ExtraUI mod)
If issues still occur, deleting the entire ".cashe" folder and relaunching the game should work.

This worked perfectly, accessed the menus and unsubscribed from the problematic mod.

Thank you and TAKE MY POINTS!!!
