homeless people
Everywhere in my city. parks have at least like 100 or more in them. i have 20 parks..do the math. There standing everywhere on the streets. They don't move ad all, other than overrunning my hospital and Police because of being sick or committing crimes. No problem with money tho thats easy in 2.0. Anyone else has this homeless problem ?

Hello, yes same problem :
1000 homeless criminals for a 2000 pop city :/

I have suffered the same. You have to delete ALL your parks and make sure they have access to FREE public transport to leave the city. Problem is, once you rebuild the parks they will come back. Waiting for a patch from CO to correct this!

I wonder if this is connected too the office bug, randomly swapping from 200/200 pop too 5/5 on upgrades. but probably abit too early for offices at a 2k village

How do you find homeless amount? I can't figure our where that statistic is listed. I do SEE them tho. and unemployment is rampant so makes sense, or?

You don't. There is no info panel where you can check this which is strange since it is a fairly important metric of your city.

To get rid of the homeless, offer them a way to map edge and delete all parks and attractions.
If the homeless have a job, why can't they move in somewhere when I build? Some are specialists and highly educated. :(

Deleting parks and train connections to outside don't help in my game. The homeless then just keep standing on the sidewalks.

That's a good question and the bug. It seems that residents can pick housing unit only ones. If it isn't available or house got destroyed, they won't get a second chance. Devs claimed that people can move around but I've not seen this happening. Maybe I've missed it but something like this happening would explain why homeless won't pick up a new place to live.

They will eventually leave now. You just had such a massive amount of them. I had the same thing and took couple of months in game to get them all to leave.

Yes. I tried just putting in the bus route first and it seems some are leaving. The others I try to locate and delete. Don't know if they come back lol. I didn't want to lose money deleting my parks. The refund isn't great these days lol. Will see how it goes. Thanks.

I destroyed all the parks, built a bus depot, placed a stop in the center of my city (a small town of 2000 inhabitants), created a bus line from this stop to an external city and set the ticket price to $0.
After watching the comings and goings closely, I have the impression that there are more criminals arriving than leaving, and there are even some who, as soon as they get off the bus, go to burglarize the houses around the station. ^^
The only way I've found to lower the number of criminals, the number of crimes per month, and the crime success rate is to find and delete the criminals one by one by clicking on the people in the city... a temporary solution since they just come back on the bus :/

Anyone know if they've fixed this in the latest patch?

No, not fixed. There is an official announcement about that on the Paradox forum. They tried hard before vacation, but this problem seems to be more complex. As mentioned you can bulldoze your Cims with the bulldoze mod.
