Residential demand and all industry demand is 0
my population is at 108k and stayed at 108k for month and never increasing or decreasing.
Even though the population tab tells me I should be increasing at 3k pop per month, but there is nothing in reality.

Low, medium, high density residential demand all sits at 0, even with +happiness, +availability of jobs, +free workplaces, +taxes attributes, net citizen happiness at +23.

It makes no sense, all increase in population has stopped, no new residential zones gets filled at all.

City is at Metropolis stage, I tried building every type of infrastructure improvement, and it changes nothing.

Pretty sure this is (another) new bug. Recent update was rushed out and there are quite a few game breaking bugs currently.

How is your homeless situation? I've seen some with your issue have a large homeless problem as well, which is messing up demand.
My residential demand was ZERO for at least a year in-game after the patch. It is now back to sort of normal, except low is still nearly zero.

I suspect this is also a homeless people issue. Delete all your parks and other attractions & leisure facilities. This makes homeless people leave and you should see instant correction on demands. It seems that homeless people can hold a job even if they don't have a house. That fulfils the job demand and causes residential demand to plummet. They also cause lot of deaths and healthcare issues.

theres a mod that fixes the office bug, its called profit based industry and offices if i recall correctly. Essentially offices don't export their product because of some issues with the way their logic works.
Same for me as soon as I reach a population of around 10K my residential demand goes to zero. I can add more commercial, industrial and office and it never changes. Still no residential demand

I checked my parks, there is no homeless problem.

this is a fresh new city started after 2.0 patch. I bought the game after 2.0 patch. this is the first city, game already broken.

What are your taxes like? im not quite at that pop yet, but ive noticed upping or dropping taxes by 1-2% has a big effect on rci demand. i had a similar issue with my industry at at about 30k, dropping it down 2% fixed it for me.

Yeah this is rather frustrating that they made a city building game, where the demand can hit rock bottom for no apparent reason at all. It's a little inconvenient that we have to sit there and wait for our "IDEAS" and concepts to happen because we cant get the demand that we wanted. Really hope they sort this out, and i hope we don't all have to leave the game on the fastest speed for hours upon hours just for it to catch back up lol. I just made a city after 2.0 and its stuck at 42,000, so i know the frustration.

I have 8% tax on residential, 12% on commercial and 10% everywhere else.

This is truly frustrating indeed. that the game is allowed to simply give players a brick wall with no way to advance. I have given my citizen every luxury, and they are very happy (net citizen happiness at +23). This bug is simply game braking. If there is no fix soon, I am going to ask for a refund.

Let me guess. You have no outside cost effective connection for cims who can't afford to drive/taxi in.
Demand hits zero in the original at times too. For many reasons, and often for good reasons.
This time it's the huge economy patch, and its inevitable. Mine and most everyone I know recovered after a few in-game months.
But now all residential is again back to ZERO.

I also found that dropping the tax rate to 8% or lower brings back the demand

Don't build sportstadiums and you are fine. It seems as it is bugged.
