Highway Intersections ?

I put the game down for a while since launch to wait on patches. One thing I noticed after starting again since launch is highway Intersections seem to not be snapping properly or are very difficult to align. I feel like this wasn't the case at launch, last night I spent about an hr to try to get an intersection into my city placed for highway exits, and tried everything to get it in alignment. I got it placed, but not really satisfied with the results.

Another thing I noticed is since the patch, it seems like incoming traffic from outside connections seems strange and I don't remember it like this on launch. For example, I have 3 exits from the outside highway connection, but 99% of the vehicles attempt to exit the first ramp and won't spread out or try any other exits. I've increased to a 5 lane highway, dual exit ramps, etc, and it appears from observation that they are always taking the closest exit ramp to the outside connection into the city.

Has anyone else experienced either issues?

Also, I have no mods installed, this is a new city build - not existing city.
