yes, you can. With the same brush like inside.
But so far I only tried after importing a world map for the outer tiles. And if one use a brush on both the inside and the outside at the same stroke, things get ugly.
Gotta just wait for some more performance patches and fleshing out the game for it but it is coming.
thanks for your reply~ do u know how to edit official maps with map editor?
I really like the Archipelago Haven map but some islands on this map are half within the 529 tiles and half outside... i really want to edit it to make it not too weird looking
