Mods not working issue - Possible fix
Taken from another thread:

Lifted from another forum

"The incompatible mods for me were:
- Realistic density
-Zoning Toolkit

Another that I did not have in the first place was mentioned to be incompatible:
- Extended tooltips

Disable these, restart the game and it should work."

I disabled both of the first two and everything is working fine. I don't use the third.

The third makes for me problems too. I disabled Realistic Density and Extended Tooltip. and now it works again.

For me everything using gooee is causing the problems, like extendedtooltip, findstuff, ultimate monitor, first person camera

Gooee got an update, but every mod using it needs an update, too

And i think zoning toolkit is not compatible with Move It

In my case, it was the "Extra Landscape Tools" that prevents other mods from being loaded successfully.

So far, I have
Anarchy
Move It
Better Bulldozer
School Capacity Balancer
City Service Rebalance

They work fine together.

No idea why "Extra Landscape Tools" breaks other mods and causes problems.

So the justification for having Paradox Mods and not Steam Workshop was that the former would manage dependencies so there would be less incompatibilities with mods.

Day 1 and the mods are not only replete with incompatibilities, the Paradox Mods tool doesn't highlight them so players have to guess what might be borked to see if they can make the game work.

Paradox is worse than EA. At lease EA give you a properly working game before they DLC you to bankruptcy. I wouldn't be surprised if Paradox just sells your contact information to a debt counselling company when you download.

At this moment I am running 42 mods (rofl xD) including 'Zoning Toolkit' and 'Extended Tooltips' and I also had the problem that no mods were loading.

I got all those mods running again by clicking the 'Reset Load Order' button that is available when you click on the active playset. You might give that a try aswell, maybe it helps you too. ;)

That seems to work too. Hadn't even spotted that button.

Oh i will try that today after work. I have the problems too, that i dont see any mods, when i use "Extended Tooltip" and "Realistic Density". I used this mods in the past from thunderstore and like them. Hope i will get them running again from paradox mods.

:steamhappy:

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in house mod system. "Sorry Paradox Mods services failed to complete the request. Couldn't find or access the request playlist" Literally never had any issues with steam workshop

Hey guys. I had problems that my modlist was empty after i installed extended tooltip and realistic density. I am now home from work and did what a modder said to me. I delete all mods and then i made a new playset. The old playset i delete too. Then i exit the game and take a look to the mod folder. I must say, i was shocked what PDX Mods forgot to delete. From nearly every mod the setting files was there. Some modfolders with a file was there too. Thats not a clean uninstall what Paradox does there.

Then i delete all this files and folders from hand.

First i installed Dependency Pack. Then Gooee and then extended tooltip and realistic density. After this mods like Extended Radio, Move it, Line tool, Find Stuff and and and.

And until now its running great.
I thing there was a problem with A: The old playset or B: one of the files which PDX not delete makes trouble.
In future i will keep an eye on the mod library too, in which row the mods will be loaded. Perhaps this can help too.

Hope this will help some people here.

Mods dependent on Gooee (and Gooee itself) messes up the game. You should uninstall them until they are fixed.
