How to stop jaywalking pedestrians?
In high density areas, road traffic is completely gridlocked due to huge crowds of pedestrians. How do I fix this? If I have traffic lights, the pedestrian light turns green at the same time as the car light, so the cars still can't move, if I don't have lights, there's just an unending row of pedestrians locking the cars from ever moving at all. If I remove the crosswalks, the pedestrians just walk through the road anyway and the cars still have no chance of ever moving.

Well, first jaywalking is not against the law. Second, a bridge for pedestrians across the street does help to reduce the number of jaywalking ones.

How can I build such a bridge in an already full high density grid?

well, get rid of the buildings at the corners?

Perhaps you can sneek a small low density commercial in also.

Is it an elevated pedestrian road you're suggesting? I'm not sure how to run that above existing streets, 10m is the shortest elevation and it takes like a whole block until it's not "slope to steep" so I cannot place it in high density.

Depends on the country. In Canada once I was warned by the police.

Yes, but I am crossing streets every day without crosswalk or traffic lights. And as long I keep a bit of distance from such possibilities that is ok.

Okay, how do I build that? Because I see no such option in game

:abitmtired: Steam forums are still the best !
I think this game and a possible Payday 4 will provide further laughing stock.

Looking forward to the next DLC for this game.

I better not have suggested that, police in the US may get ideas, since they tend to be more trigger happy than most.

Ask me how I know.
Or do you not need to ask?

Yeah, actually it is in most (if not all) jurisdictions, at least in the United States. Depending on the jurisdiction, it can be either an infraction or a misdemeanor, and can even include fines. Can't speak as to other countries; I don't know how they treat it and am not curious enough to look it up. But if you're in the USA, yeah, it's against the law to one degree or another.
