Either will work. I looked again in devmode and still not know where can be found. Guess I will do what many others has done on here, play SC1. Since lot of features we all desire or like to have works in that game, and mods are still being made for it.

while there is a work around OP is 100% right, CO has taken many features in this game that used to be easy and made them annoying. So instead of texture brush you have to go searching for sand. Instead of the road working correctly you have to destroy it and build it 3 more times. instead of post offices working you have to delete your harbor.

The whole theme of this game is how can we make our customers work hard to test our beta without being paid.

There are tons of beaches out there in the world which don't have sand at all. There are concrete beaches, gravel beaches, stony beaches, ash beaches,....
Obviously in paradox land beaches don't have sand as well, that could be why there are no sand beaches in the game

This "Beaches DLC" is as much about beaches as it is about the upcoming 2025 All-Finland National Hobbyhorse semi-finals. ( a real thing )
It was about snatching another ten bucks from the few hundred remaining willing to fork it over, and from another hundred who bought if wanting to see for themselves. CO probably gave away more free to modders and insiders than were actually purchased.

True, I was hoping though there would be boardwalks or better implementation of quays.
