Still, I see how at 180k, things would bog down to a halt for me as well, so I'm not continuing right now. I'll be back in half a year after the next big patch.
Of course he is right. For a normal dude with an average PC this game just gives frustration. And this is the worst a game can do to you as a player. A game must function. There are so many issues with the game. Performance, mods, graphics, FPS, poor simulation, etc.
After a hard working day you just want to game for relax and not have more headachs with a game. Come back in one year and we will see. But i doubt CO will ever fix this mess.
Would I like them to improve this, yes, do I think they will, doubtful, I just think its beyond the scope of what this engine can do. I think theres legal reason as to why theyre still using Unity but it was a mistake.
At least it appeals to doggo fans.
Maybe they manage to put a fifth Cities game out of the door someday.
