Unrealistic and Ugly Road Textures
I know, many things to complain about, however, one thing that bugs me personally the most is the overly unrealistic and ugly road textures.

Did any of you hear something in regards to this? Thank you!

Not perfect, but do their job on indicating how lanes go etc.
RoadWearRemover mod. Gets rid of those ridiculous white shadows. As if tires left white residue on roads. Do these game developers even know what a road looks like?

We use asphalt where I live.
Wheel tracks always go lighter.

Because we aren't driving on concrete here. Asphalt is black when it is new, and gets grey in the worn out places due to bitumen wearing off and granite stones being left.

You must be a 'murican?

Yup. Which is why it shouldn't be happening in the North American theme/roads. And the game roads are as much supposed to be black bitumen as I'm supposed to be European.

If you want beautiful roads, CS1 has it. I enjoy the assets and realistic feel of cs1. Rain even soaks houses and all. But it's old and cs1's road tools blow cs1 away.

Actually it's the other way around, wheel tracks stay darker than the areas which barely get touched by wheels, similar to how it is ingame. At least it's how it is in germany (just look at random roads at google maps).
However, it depends a lot on how wide the roads are. On narrow roads it looks very similar to the game, but on wide roads the border area does not get touched much by wheel and lightens up as well.

However, in the game it's exaggerated, it's too light and on wide roads or roads with parking spaces it's not really wheel tracks what we see because the border area does not get lighter as well.
That's probably why it looks so weird.
