Thunderstore mod manager
When i try to launch the game from mod manager it tells me
Error game directory could not be found.
Set the city skylines 2 directory in settings screen.
I don't know which file I'm supposed to set

The Thunderstore mod manager is adware, it sucks.
The Gloss mod manager is better....

you don't need the mod manager to start the game with mods....

I think it was a mistake not using the Steam Workshop.

They wanted to give console players the ability to use mods. Their solution was to come up with a centralized mod repository.

Somehow I have the feeling, even if they had chosen again Steam Workshop for Mods, assets, etc.. we would not have mod/asset/editor support yet,

I'd say you'd be right as I believe they've said the modding tools aren't even ready yet and will be rolling it out piecemeal.

I used a modifier to enable the map editor and holy rip-roaring frick it is buggy. I never have seen water waves syncronise with my V-Sync, thus making them animate at 60 cycles-per-second.
