With an official apology from the devs and an economy patch on the way and some CCP’s in the pipeline the community seems to have relaxed a bit. Although I’m not going to get my hopes to high just yet I think the worst stuff is behind us now (fingers crossed)

Agreed. There is just a tiny group of miscreants that are keeping the forum interesting with thier reactionary ideals.
To some the game just cannot be allowed to improve. But an acceptable stance on any open forum.

Meanwhile, the active players grow and seem to be finding thier niche while ignoring the noise.

I'll probably get back into it once we get that economy patch. Hopefully it fixes the industry tax bug and also makes the game harder. It would be nice if our in-game decisions actually had consequences.

If you want the game harder, there is a mod for that.

I'm still somewhat wary of using Paradox mods since the base game is already so full of bugs. I might try it out once the economy patch drops though.

Game wont be worth playing until asset editor support. There is just not enough content in the game, even when its working perfectly/bug free, to keep it interesting.

Brother I don't agree with you. The game has not improved at all. I don't see any new assets anywhere and my ultimate purchase is nowhere to be seen.

I don't even understand your logic anymore. You are so positive 24/7 and happy with the ubber grotesque performance of this game and I respect that but I keep seeing you so positive when they lie, lie,lie,lie and the assets never come. Nothing has changed much since you last hit 2 mil and I hit 1.6. It's like who are we kidding bro? This is it. I thought maybe things will improve but it's almost 8 months out and so far, we are still using dev mode for assets that crash the game and crap. It is not a $50 game, even after eight months and five hotfixes.
The number of players is about 50% of the original which is now, what, almost ten years old?
A long-awaited successor to a game with still 15K players alone on STEAM, and they can't attract and keep 7.5K over eight months. As of today, 1 is up players and 2 is down players from 7 days ago. Which is pretty much how it's been for weeks now.
The original deserves a much better heir.
Who knows, they might some day deliver a worthy successor, but this version is certainly not it.

I totally understand why you are upset and give you massive props for stating your opinion without being insulting and hateful. You are a kind person who can actually make a point that can be respected.

However you may have misunderstood my tact. Clearly you have read my posts and you must see I am as just as unhappy with the hollow empty mess this game is but maybe you missed how I am only positive about the recent updates and the incremental improvements to the game. For what I play the game for its simply faster, less gltchy and working fine. I understand that others play differently and are struggling but there is no reason to attack any player who is trying to help others find a place.

I can see the devs are working at it slowly and it is clearly getting better, too slow for many including me. Positive credit when it is deserved and criticism when needed. But the Haters can just go to hell. Damn it, i'll have to try harder to get more profile boost awards from that group. That should be easy.

As far as MY game? There is nothing wrong with it and it is indeed way better than ever FOR ME, I have an overflowing map growing in population like crazy and now at almost 4.5M pop. What do I have to ♥♥♥♥♥ about??

I have nothing to complain about. The game is right now giving me all the things I once complained about and more. That, I know you understand, If the game kicks me in the ass again I'll complain and hope to see a fix as before. Sorry if I let you down but for sure negativity towards other gamers and the devs will just make it miserable for anyone who expects change.

I am always here to help anyone with the game as it is now, but for those that hate it its just time to stop attacking other players for their opinions and stop banging your heads against the wall and just take another break. I for one will be here for the good and the bad.

When the game reaches the point CS1 was 8 years ago the "minority" of this community will change their "majority" negative reviews of CS2.

Nah, just people who want to hold CO and Paradox accountable for fraud and willing to warn others about it. Calling CS1 community toxic haters is one way to gas light the issues and based on their track record not all of us share the optimism. I'm glad some people enjoy it , but for the rest of us we will continue to criticize what was deceptively advertised and hopefully someday be able to reverse our negative reviews.
