You can still run the Thunderstore mods and PDX mods at the same time. I run them both for the like 2 or three mods there that I need like the one you’re talking about traffic light enhancements. Works just fine
Once pedestrian pathfind comes over (or an equivalent shows up), and as soon as TM:PE finally makes it on to PDX (whenever that happens; I've heard that the author is working on it, but it's going to take time), that will be the end of Thunderstore for me.
So yeah, you can run Thunderstore and have it start the game, and both sets of mods will work just fine. Be sure that you don't duplicate any mods, though, or you're gonna have problems, I would expect. 🥴
For the PDX side, I'd definitely recommend Skyve; it has a small background process that will keep your subscribed mods updated, so you don't have to wait on them when you start the game. Very handy! 👍
