Let Americans make city-building games. Game developers in a country whose largest city is 500k people can't do sh*t. We have painfully experienced how inadequate these hillbillies are without the help of independent mods. This is a good lesson for us.
Maxis: Make city-building genre great again!
Hell, it even comes with its own built in modding support to make custom buildings.
Whats needed is for a large studio/dev house to put some serious money down on the table and have a go at creating a new city builder. If I had £50 million I would do it myself as there is a big demand for a true next generation city builder but no publisher has been capable of doing so simply due to money and greed.
CS1 is a good game but its no where near Simcity 4 in terms of actual simulation and CS2 at present is non existent. I have been waiting over 20 years for a next generation Simcity 4.
A true spiritual successor to Simcity 4 would make mega money.
Yeah I love Urbek, has some interesting gameplay mechanics, can't wait for the railway dlc.
Yeah I remember, Simcity 2013 is what happens when the suits get involved in game making.

CS1 existed because EA ruined SimCity. Now we have this fiasco.
