Paradox mods not working in game

I had some problems downloading the mods with the servers being overloaded. Eventually they downloaded and installed but when loading a game NONE of them are present in game. No menus or anything. Am I missing something? Theres no option to download or start them in the options. I was lead to believe that they will just start working once theyre in a playlist and active but they arent.

It was for me. I had same issue as OP. I also was fuming at the game for showing mixed messages and a very slow interface. Everything seemed to be okay after trail and error, except in game none off the mods were working. After a restart, i saw i had extra notifications (loading mods) below virtual texturing. Since then it works.

Today I had this problem with the game Cities Skylines 2. When I saw that they added the possibility to install mods from Paradox company directly through the launcher, right in the game, I went to download them. I downloaded 4 pieces, like everything was installed normally, even went into my save and played. But after re-entry, began to load some additional files, and then I lost the main menu and instead of it is now an empty ocean on which I can move the camera and everything.

They cant find a sorry for this. They are unable to fix a stupid modhub in 12 hours? One hint to paradox and CO. Make a rollback and use the steam workshop. I bet your modhub cant handle this in future, when CS2 will get so many mods like CS1.

If it helps anyone narrow the cause of their issues, mods are working fine for me. I installed the top 10 or so and they all seem to be enabled and working as intended. I also installed Skyve which will let you know if you have any mod conflicts, or if a particular mod has been reported as buggy.

to play with downloaded mods, its needed to intstall all the modding software too? mainmenu callings me i need to install all unity, net.sdk,c# and and and.. ?

Only mod developers need those dependencies. You can ignore that if you're not a developer.

I am running through Gamepass and no problems. I just clicked on install to current playlist and it was instant. I downloaded all of the modded maps, 2 radio mods and 7 QOL mods and then went into the game and everything was working with no need to restart.

I am on a 1 GB fiber connection and the game is on an M.2 SSD and I got no slowdowns, errors or disconnects. It all ran perfectly for me and even the big patch was downloaded and installed in under 5 minutes. I just finished playing an 8 hour session and the game ran perfect as did all the mods.

I have restarted multiple times, uninstalled thunderstore and there are no mods present in the game even this morning. I cant find a work around at all.

yeah it took a bit but the mods themselves downloaded fine. But theyre not showing up at all in game. I cant get them to work at all even though theyre installed.

Can only play vanilla game from steam after removing all thunderstore content. Clicking on Paradox Mods in the menu freezes the game, so can't even see whats available on steam. And i now can't even play from Thunder store as Hook UI appears to be not compatible and game won't boot. I want to just play the game, not spend hours trouble shooting or having to delete the game and redownload.

Sometimes the mods load then other times mods don't load. IDK.

I am on GeForce and having the same issues
Neither are the mods loading, or if I use a save game from the downloads, there is no UI
