"this is how they drive here (random place on the planet)"
basic comment about traffic
it doesn't make sense why?
you can remove the roads and the city will still do nothing about that,
and thousands of other problems, devs really worked hard to deliver a worse traffic system than in cs1

Well designed traffic AI
"Smarter traffic AI" was at the top of my assumptions about what CS2 would offer, so it's just one more disappointment for the list.
Without a screenshot to go by, I can only assume that the new routing is faster - in paper - and most vehicles changed paths due to that.
Can you show a picture of what went wrong vs. what it's supposed to look like ?
I broke something in the road?? By placing a car park alongside the road using the systems provided in order to do so?? It's not really intended (although possible) to place a car park, then add the road.
I think what you mean is, the games systems are broken, requiring you to something out of the ordinary without explanation or good reason. So, a bug!
FWIW, Replacing the road does not solve these sort of issues.
The traffic will choose to use a car park as a valid route, but just like zoning can change when making an alteration, so can preferred routes.
There are no bugs here. You are just playing it wrong. /s
No need to join the revolution or storm the castle :) But trying to make out a bug in a game is somehow my fault sounds like the CEO saying the launch disaster is also my/our fault as customers. I took it that way because it also happened when reporting bugs on the forums, with video evidence, along come those saying "yeah but its your fault, do this, do that, it will fix it" when the issues materialise on their own. Having to build and rebuild everything because plopping something broke other things, is just a pita and why I don't actively play atm.
I appreciate the workaround to mitigate the game issue, though.
Honestly, I wish I was. I've fired it up to check once or twice, but I have not played since the end of Jan (non-patch patch day) because there's just too much wrong with it atm, the patch made everything worse for me, it crashes quite frequently now, whereas I had never had any crashes since launch, not to mention the patch not actually fixing anything of substance. Still. There could have been something good, its just not materialising yet.
