Taking a break until the simulation is fixed

I never comment on any discussion on steam. But I wanted to let whatever powers that be that read these threads aware that I will be walking away from this game until the simulation in the game actually works. And I expect that to be done by the developers, not the modding community. If after a significant period of time (months/years) it is clear the developers are unable or unwilling to address the simulation issues and mods are available I'll dip my toe back in.

This game broke a trust with me. It was directly stated it would be a robust simulation and it is not. The industry income bug is absolutely game breaking. It was not corrected in the last patch, and it effectively eliminates the entire budgetary sim experience. As others have noted, public transport sim is also broken, as it does not reduce vehicle traffic regardless of how much or how little public transport there is.

I know I don't have to "announce my departure like an airport" and these feedback may be considered overly negative. But it is the truth, it is why I am quitting. It is why I will not buy another Paradox game until months or years after it has been out.

I hope the short term financial gain was worth this type of brand reputational damage. I can't fathom it is, but here we are.

As for me, I've stopped playing CS2 until they fix it... will it be forever? Whatever ends up happening, I definitely won't buy any more paradox games until they fix this one.

They already announced the simulation is where they want it to be. You're gonna have to wait for ever
