What happened to the region packs?

I'm as angry as anyone else about the bungled release, but those free region packs with 2500 assets that we were promised would go a LONG way to making the game better.

These things were not even prepared by CO, but by third party asset designers who will have had little to do with the other development, so the work is surely ready on time, not affected by the other bug fixing work.

So where are they?

It seems among all the complaints about other issues, Paradox have quietly let this slide?

The asset editor is needed to import assets into the game and it's so broken they have no idea when they'll find a way to fix it. As long as you can't import assets into the game, these region packs are useless, hence the delay.

In the description of the video its saying ''coming soon to Paradox Mods!''
Modding will go into Beta first that has been announced and then these packs will come once the beste testing is done. (That is whats going on)

A cursory search for "region packs" on steam and on Paradox forums brought little recent information.

I find it bizarre that you take the time to reply to a post with a comment insinuating that the post itself is a waste of time, while somewhat paradoxically wasting your own time by replying in the first place. But you do you.

So they're having to keep kicking that can down the road. It is extremely concerning that so many months after release it still isn't ready. This is something they advertised and sold the game on. What a con.

Hiding roadmap could show that they struggle to patch their base game...

Past weeks, I seen CSII popping up on You Tube and thinking "Oh! Update new".
But it just them doing live streams to hype up the game after the last update that should of fixed many things.

I been waiting to come back and play the game after the workshop and region pack update.
