I'd like to see all the elementary schools needed for this, don't care to watch the whole vid.
NDAs work like that. He chose to participate, and knew he'd have to be 'positive and upbeat' and 'not bring overdue attention to any issues'.
In return he made a bundle of cash on YT vids of C:S2.
He chose.
I chose to unsub and not watch his stuff anymore and encourage others to do the same.
This.
"I think the game is fantastic!"
Oh Biffa... how low you have went
Well he is under Paradox's payroll for almost 2 years and under NDAs and he is also sponsored by a shady game key seller, of course his opinion is biased in favour of the game.
No different from a politician
Yeah like I said, watch him if you want for entertainment but just know that going in.
We all do something for a living, he does that.
It has nothing to do with Biffas NDA, it's about the general performance issues - AND how Linus uses Cities Skylines II as an indicator for hardware performance.
And of course how even big players struggle with the current issues.
Considering that the used map is not even half full and there is a lot of low density stuff on it, we could assume that cities with even 10m inhabitants might be theoretically possible.
So hardware developers like AMD, Intel, NVidia,... got a new challenge: create hardware that is capable of dealing with those huge CSII Cities.
I guess we'll need at least 256core CPUs and GPUS with 64GB VRAM and 64k Cuda Cores...
The other thing with reading some of the more saltier posts regarding Biffa. Has me wondering that they are just salty, that they didn't cash in on the whole get paid to play games wagon. lol
I dont follow the entire cs1 content creators but Biffa by far was the largest and most popular cs1 content guy.
NDA and paid content is 1 thing. This was more like a glowing review of a game that he knew was broken.
Plenty of content creators over various genre during paid sponsorships dont actually give a positive or negative recommendation. They will just go over it whether it is a game or a screwdriver.
And during release it was obvious a ton of content creators got paid to give positive reviews. That goes beyond paid sponsorships and just showing the game off. Cause now their is basically false things being stated about the product.
I will use Flossy Carter as an example one of the popular phone and gadget guys. He doesnt do paid videos but he gets FREE products. He states it up front and calls it an unboxing not review. He doesnt bash it since it was free. But hi full review with a product he bought comes out soon after. Transparency and honesty.
Cs2 was so obvious people were paid to speak good of it not just show it off.
Biffa was just the biggest guy so it was the easiest to pickup he was lying about stuff and bought off
