Mariina Hallikainen CEO of Colossal Order is Toxic

The CEO of Colossal Order is acting like a sociopath by self victimising herself and the company, claiming she hasn't seen this level of toxicity from consumers after the release of Cities Skylines 2 as seen in the link below. This is now being used as an excuse to cut back on developer interactions with the community when the reality is - they haven't engaged with the community after the abysmal release of this half baked scam of a game, and have in fact have been silencing voices of dissent on their forums that call the company out.

Perhaps this can be a lesson Mariina - Do not hype your customers up with false promises, fake marketing materials that show the game running smoothly and incomplete buggy features that do not even function, all so your precious company can churn a profit.

I hope this company goes out of business - you're the snake oil con man of the gaming industry.

Actually, OP did use the word correctly and DID draw a link between the posted link and the accusation. Tsk... tsk... Let's not forget how much bullying has been done in her WOW posts towards the consumers. I guess bullying is only defined on this forum according to who is doing it....

Calling out facts isn't bullying - it's calling out the facts. She is behaving like a sociopath by utilising angry customers as a means to lower staff numbers, and increase profits for the company. Lets not forget the self victimization.

If I am a car salesman and I sell you a brand new 2024 Ford Raptor and its max speed is 30MPH before it stutters, when it should go 120MPH, and the longer you drive the slower it goes, the horn doesn't work, the seats don't move back and the doors are jammed. Then when you come back all angry and I refuse to fix it but instead add little stickers and decals to your paint job when you never asked for it. What type of response should I get?

I don't share OP's emotional sentiments, but I don't think that CO has a bright future under Marina's lead... It is Marina who alienates the community. At this point (after 8 WoW) I doubt her ability to make the wrongs right. I guess, the situation is not going to improve until she resigns and someone more qualified takes her role.
