And its a legit copy? What version of windows?

Because its something to do with that. Sounds like you have a 2nd harddrive does that have a separate operating system?

The game a legit copy, this issue started with this recent update, before it was fine and no issues, I have 1 main HD connected(inside the computer), and a 1TB USB backup drive, but that one doesn't have a OP system on it, and using win10

I meant is windows a legit copy?

but since it started with the most recent update, Id have to guess its that. Many people are having a problem with the last update. Its a damn shame they are gone for a month.

Is your harddrive formatted for NTFS? Is it even formatted at all?

What are you even talking about? Sounds to me like you're just making things up.

This seems like a problem I would have had 15 or 20 years ago because I was always f’ing around with stuff and wound up with unreliable, unstable gear. Nothing wrong with it. It’s how we learn. But, now I enjoy buying and building for stability. This box of electrons barely works and I’m not going to screw with anything that could make it worse.

Yep, its the default for it, thats why i find it weird that after this update i got this issue all the sudden

it's definitely weird - and usually FAT32 related.
On FAT32 filesystems the max filesize is 4 GByte.
This limitation does not exist on exFat and NTFS.

Some CS2 files are way larger than 4 GByte, so my personal guess is: Your partition where you try to install CS2 is formatted in FAT32, that's why it cannot be installed.

I think Windows requires NTFS these days anyway.
