The American Jughandle works SURPRISINGLY well for no mods.
Who said we needed protected left turns? (yeah, we really do)
But here's a pretty small intersection you can use that works surprisingly well in vanilla CS2.

Force all left-turning traffic to go straight, and cut the pedestrian walk way back from the intersection, and remove the extra traffic lights. It makes the intersection larger, and gets high pedestrian traffic out of it as well.

Here it is, implemented.

If we had the workshop, I'd put it up on there, but... Hope that helps some people that hate the traffic AI right now.

(I also hate roundabouts because I'm american)

I don't get it, by the time someone enters any of the "handles" they've already been through the intersection.. so you just want to send the car through the same intersection twice?

It makes it so the cars can't turn left directly on the 8 lane road, and they can also go back the way they came. But wait, there's more! It also pushes the pedestrian walk-way and stop lines back from the intersection, giving cars more time and freedom to clear it unimpeded.

They actually work fairly well for quite a bit of traffic, both pedestrian and cars! Quite a bit better out of the box than CS1 did for it.

Those abominations run rampant in New Jersey. On a moderately trafficked road, you end up waiting for 3 or 4 light cycles before you finally get through. And then you get the nimrods that block the right turn lane in the jug handle because they're just tooooo precious to have to wait with the other cars turning left.

Give me a roundabout any day of the week.
