Bulldozing Roads Bug
This is a completely game breaking bug. Sometimes when roads, especially interchanges, are nearby other roads, they require all the roads around to be bulldozed to get rid of them. It's bloody awful.

Yup. “Little” things like this are what make me turn off the software - usually nine minuted after each patch is released.

Can they patch disappointment?

Some roads might get slightly truncated to form an intersection, but when the intersection is gone they revert to their original length. In cases where they cannot revert to their original shape, like when that would collide with an object or yield an invalid shape, the game prevents you from deleting the intersection unless you also delete the offending road.

The 'offending road' is sometimes all the roads in the vicinity traveling 100 of meters away. It's ridiculous. The road and terraforming tools are so janky, it's just an exercise in futility every time I start up the game, I'm not sure why I keep trying at this point.

I have a similar bug from a map I made in the editor. All the roads I put in the base map are unbulldozeable and the game treats it all as one big chunk that exceeds city limits.
It's not seeing the individual road segments.
Now that map is broken, and I have to try to fix it in the very beta map editor.

This is all so very beta software. Very disappointing, especially if one paid for the ultimate edition.

I guess more motivation to open up Unreal or Godot and work on my own city sim. I have some hobby level skill at code. probably have a better chance doing it myself than waiting for Paradox/C.O. to fix this mess. I think part of their problem is that they are using Unity.

There are a couple of ways to enable Anarchy, and that will allow you to bulldoze the section you want without effecting the other sections. They will still flag red, but it will work. Devmode can enable it and also a couple of different mods can. Other than that, the only solution is to rebuild.

ExtendedHotkeys mod has anarchy mode (toggle with Alt+A) that can _sometimes_ help with unbuldozable roads.
