No, you would probably rage back and defend yourself, whether it was true or not.
Noone likes to be berated on what they do. Noone like to get death threats for work they deliver.
So read back your posts and think if that was aimed at me, how would I react?
I havent read them, but your post here is littered with attacks against someones work output and ethics.
I mean, an unfinished game was pushed to the market at full price and there is no guarantee it will ever be fixed. How ethical is this? The developers KNEW it wasn't working, didn't they? I am a software engineer myself but I was never criticized like this because I never released an unfinished or untested product.
It is not that hard, really. You just tell your managers that it is not ready! Regardless of how much they cry about it, they can do nothing unless you hand them the deployables.
It may be time for you to learn something completely new from this experience, OP. Never get a 1.0 version of ANYTHING. Not a game, not an OS, not a car, not a refrigerator, and not a smartphone. This is EXACTLY what you did. You bought a 1.0 version of CS2 and now you're mad. I empathize, but I don't feel sorry for you, and I'm just not going to get angry about all this with you or on your behalf.
Oh, and never pre-order anything. Ever. Always wait for a full month to pass before you pay your money. That way, you won't raise the temperature with your words in a forum, and maybe you won't get banned. Just sayin'!
If you do buy a 1.0 of something and/or a pre-order of something, control your verbiage on the manufacturer's forum. Your only decision is to keep the thing and work FORWARD through the problems, or just ask for a refund and be done with the drama.
Yes, of course I did buy the 1.0 version too. But I'm approaching it with appropriate real-world expectation. Play it, see what works, and then have patience and grace with the developer. After all, it was a 1.0 version... and I DID pre-order it. So I broke both of these common-sense rules myself. Why would I raise my stress needlessly by getting mean on a forum?
Anyway, I hope you find your way forward and I hope you don't stress out too much about all of this. It's not worth it in the long run. Good luck!
And if you don't know it already, crowded cities is what this game is supposedly all about!!! Hint: SKYLINES.
Bit of a naff analogy, since a game no matter how bad it may be, will not make you sick or to the extreme put you in hospital.
You clearly are delusional if you think you can talk to people like that and expect a positive response good luck in life buddy LOL
