Maybe higher level terrain?
Bridge works as well. Granted, 1 pillar will be bang in the middle of a shipping route, but ships don't collide to it, they go through the openings on both sides of this central pillar.
But that pillar doesn't matter. So what is the issue? Ships don't collide into it, they go through the opening so...?
I can't either place the bridge with the seaway, nor place the seaway with the bridge in place.
I don't get your point.
If I can't even place a bridge...
The game doesn't let me place because of "colliding objects"...
And yes, I have tried to start the brige at a distance, with maximum heigh, with and without parallel, in open space, blank map, several cities built a few days before WITH RAILWAY BRIDGES WITH A WIDE GAP WITHOUT PILLARS OVER SEAWAYS, and now I simply can't replicate it because of colliding objects.
Build it high enough. (over 40m) And it's just elevated rail, not really a bridge. It goes easily over the seaway.
If I have tried everything in several maps, including cities where I had everything working fine before, it strikes as odd, doesn't it?
there is another update due.. what is it with you people?
