I wish I didn't member SC5.
I want SC4 advanced... >:(
Same.
SC5 was awful. You're blind if you can't see the potential of CS2 though, it's nowhere near as restrained as that abomination was.
SC4 advanced though <3 But to dream...
I am hopeful that EA might give us a new instalment for the 35th anniversary in 2024 as typically there is a roughly 10 year gap between releases. It would be great to see simcity back in the ring.
Agree, the features arent dependent on the server side, so i think EVENTUALLY they will get CS2 where CS1 was, at least i hope.
And while the CS2 XP progression system (cim "happiness") kind of starts to bleed over into that realm vice a straight population increase + net positive income progression system, I am not finding it so bad. So only a slight Simcity 5 vibe - not too bad.
Albeit for another thread, the whole money system is fracked - I have a net negative monthly income level yet my bank account keeps increasing because of subsidies...
No need to compare nowadays, it was the personal launch impression back then.
Players screenshots of this game make me think back at early build test screenshots of Cities 1, a year before launch. Let's say a decade ago.
Anyways, wishing a nice time in games :)
It's a huge game, there are several problems to be fixed. And that is expected. Bunch of kids.
