Airports
The international airport is a joke. I was really looking forward to actually building airports in II. CS-I airports were okay, but not realistic to how airports are laid out and how taxiways intersect with runways, aprons, etc. Now all we get is a generic thing to plop down - 2 parallel runways and a tiny, tiny terminal??? CS could have reached out to any university for airport business to have at least gotten some modifications...

CS1 airports from the base game are not any better.

Of course, would have been nice if Aiport DLC functionality was included in CS2 base game. Though they also have flaws - cannot intersect multiple taxiways with the runways, for example, only at the ends of the runway.

I usually plop CS2 airports in the map edges, with the runways facing out of the map, to give the impression the bulk of the runways are out of the city's limits.

I don't think it even works properly or makes sense to exist. I connected a bunch of flights out to every connection and barely anyone uses it compared to just taxiing in.
