Cant see water or sewage pipes in roadway so cant connect
Hopefully omeone knows how to fix. Just downloaded game, going through tutorials and im stuck at connecting sewage to the road. with the water i just ran a road up to the pumping station but still cannot see the water pipes in road. with the sewage im at a loss because i cant see anything. NO MODs as i have only just downloaded. First issue i had was when placing a road i got the Yellow fog so have followed some online guide by going into developer mode and turning off 'Tunnel pass' which has done the trick.
anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

It's not you. It's just tricky at first--then easy:

1) Zoom in all the way
2) You have to picture the connections in 3D which is weird at first.

Go get 'em

Edit: I may not have understood your question.

Have you also messed around and deactivated the 'Tunnel pass'?

I had both the yellow fog issue which i did manage to get rid of using the tunnel pass but now i just have the pipe issue. I can't see any water or sewage pipe lines on my road to connect them

So essentially my laptop doesn't support the game? Is there anything i can buy to add onto my laptop to get it to work do you know?

Well the game doesn't support integrated grafics chips, so its not your laptop but many others too.

According to this thread :

And this post on page 3. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/whole-map-turns-yellow-after-selecting-tool.1603483/post-29209381

"Cities: Skylines II needs a dedicated graphic card with at least 8gb of VRAM to run. "

CO suggested to refund the game when you only have an integrated grafics chip. So I don't think there is much you can do except for a new laptop with dedicated grafics card (expensive) or wait and play the game when it releases on console next year.
I could of course connect the pipe for you in your safe file, but that would not help you in the long term.

I have just found that thread and read that lots of people think its an issue with the iRIS XE graphics and thats what i have on my laptop. Very annoying as i've literally just got this laptop on finance!
My laptop is supposed to have 8 GB of RAM so unsure why it's not working?
Thank you for your offer but may just request a refund as it will drive me nuts and is basically unplayable

RAM and VRAM are two different things.
So even if you have more than 8 GB RAM that does not help with the missing grafik card and the missing VRAM
