Bus stops/shelters on "wrong side" of one way road problem
You can place a bus stop/shelter on the "wrong side" of a one-way road causing the "dead end" message to appear at either end.
Why is there a "wrong side" to a one way road? maybe i want bus stops on both sides for multiple routes to use the same one way road.

doors on both sides like in some trains come with an increased space requirement inside the vehicle.

trains are big enough so the extra space is easily available, buses are small and can't afford that extra space as it would severely cut down on passenger capacity.

yeah there are buses with doors on borh sides but they only get used in very special places.

small bus with entrance on both sides is a nice idea for a bus asset-mod.

In the city I live in, bus stops are always on the right, even on one way roads. In the inner city where lines imtersect, there is basically a a one block road with a bus lane where stops run the entire block.

Because most buses only have a passenger door on one side ...

THAT is a very good point :steamhappy: now i will try to think of some cases where i have seen this I.R.L. maybe its the end of the route and the opposite side stop is only for the driver to wait for his next shift? (not in this game mechanics though.)

still, i'm not sure a bus stop on the wrong side should cause the dead end error.....

a bus will only have doors on one side - depending on what side of the road you drive in that country

Usually it's not used because passengers have to walk around the bus, and into traffic, in order to enter or exit the bus. The only time you'll usually see it is where that isn't an issue - within a bus station for example where passing traffic can be tightly controlled - or certain specific routes which have dedicated buses designed for it.

I believe the game is creating a psudo-lane for the bus on the opposite side which is oriented in reverse. Somehow it thinks it is now a 3-lane 1/2 two way road.
