Proper Bus Connections, Empty Buses & Cims taking taxis-Solved
Proper Bus Connections-Solved Do you have bus lines set up but still experiencing the problem of no Cims taking the bus and just taking taxis all over the place? Well I found out that bus line set up is not as straightforward as originally thought.

1. If you select your bus line to review you'll notice that it may actually show you only have 1 bus stop, which is a the bus station or no bus stops even though you have a complete line. 2. The dots that you are setting on the bus route are not the bus-stops as it was in CS 1. They are now simply way points to help you set up the direction that you want your bus to travel.
3. At each way point you have to plop a bus stop(2 to select from). 4. After you plop down the bus stop, you must manually drag the way point into the bus stop, for each bus stop. 5. Once you do this you will notice that your bus line review will show each bus stop as part of your stop count. 6. This should fix your problem and sims now have actual stops to wait for a bus and get to the next bus stop destination and your buses won't just drive past the bus stop and loop around empty since the route is now officially connected to the bus stops This may be a bit of a hassle, especially if you need many stops, but this is how you completely create usable bus routes and stops, so your taxis don't take over transportation. Hope this helps everyone.

Let me know how it goes.

No. You can click directly on the bus stops and it creates the stop as you click as well, sometime can be a little finicky though so you have to make sure you are actually clicking on the stop you want and you'll know you are because the icon for the bus shelter or bus sign will get slightly bigger.

And that's after they patched it to be more responsive. I still have to triple check to make sure I actually connected the line to the stop after clicking 3 or 4 times.
