Does the city earn money from taxis or only buses?

Bus do get u bus fare.
No sure about taxis cause when I have only taxis I don't see any income.

There is a way to set the taxi fare somewhere, Sry i don't remember where exactly. And in the district policies you can set street parking prices, Buses u can set the price of the ticket but that may have knock on effects if the price is too high??? Same for trams/train lines.

Taxis fare is in a different spot. It's called city policies. You can set the fare for all taxis city wise there. I jack it up to 50 and still have way too many taxis in my cities.

You can set minimum taxi fare as a City wide policy. When you click on the RCI demand icon, there is a tab on top for city wide policies. I believe this tab is unlocked after milestone 4, or 5,... I hope this helps!

Taxis is great for children if set to cheap price. Help them get to schools. Bus is better.
