How do you evne get row houses to face the same direction?
Theyre called row houses and are in the real world, built next to eachother facing the same direction in this game theyre always facing random directions and it just looks terrible.

Don't zone up to the side streets. Only zone them on a single street and they will all align properly.

What if I would want a Grid of row houses? Where there are roads in all 4 directions. Not possible? Anyone have visual guides?

Easiest way I have found is to not use the "fill tool". Use the one that lets you select how many squares you paint. Then you paint the area you want the houses to line up on (leaving the last house worth unpainted if its on a corner or the edge of another road)... Wait for them to start building, then zone the gaps or the ones facing the other direction.

That usually ensures they all line up as you would expect.

If the buildings get abandoned or burnt down later, will the game remember their facing or will you maybe have to manually fix it?
