Service Costs
This is more of a "General" thread than a "this is broken plz fix" thread.

I want to hear about what you guys so far think about the Service Costs for Buildings.
Some of the Buildings have very High Costs and I atleast feel like it's a bit to much especially Early. People who enjoy Building beautifully from the GetGo probably consider other Services Buldings over the one available early.
For Example. Garbage Management. I prefer a more "economical" way of dealing with it, via Recycle and (well not really economical) burning while generating Electricity.
But that is bound to a high Cost. I'm sure once the Modding Tool is available people will Start making "rebalance" Mods.

But just curious what you guys think of it so far. (Above was just an Example!)

Costs as what city needs to pay for them or costs for users, companies and individuals, in the game?

So far, no rebalancing needed.

I'm personally struggling with the desire to give my cims everything they want and just how expensive everything is. I struggle leaving enough space in areas so that I can build services there later on. I also think that service area needs to be adjusted. I have suburban areas where one police station doesn't even cover the whole neighborhood because of road layouts. Where as in RL we had one police station that covered the entire town of 30k. I also spend a ton of money on schools that people aren't willing to travel 400 yards to. Some things just don't make sense. People will commute into the city to go to my schools, but someone that lives less than 4 football fields away will just complain about it not being close enough or commute out of the city. Maybe it's not broken, but I do feel like services need to either have farther reach or lower costs.

in my eyes all the income and outcomes are an illusion compared to cs1, they just scaled everything up by adding few zeroes to end. now the benefit you gain from a service building for the upkeep is entirely debatable. but ofc those upkeeps become a joke at mid/late game.

gotta say economy/functionality ratio is least of my problem in this mess of a game.
