Building an eco city

Let's share here the tips and experiences of creating an eco city.

I have recently started one, and it poses a decent challenge, in my opinion. For now I'm trying to build a city without any industry, polluting energy sources, and all garbage management outsourced. Sewage goes with max purification upgrades, and so on.

Further down the line I am going to try to replace all roads with pedestrian walkways and completely rely on trams and subway for ground transportation.
