Unlimited money??

Hey!
My budget is always increasing even if I have more costs than income...
The "arrow" is red and says that I should loose money but it is only going up. Does anybody have the same problem?

Have you tried disabling the Unlimited Money on the new game options?

Yep, have the same one. And no, unlimited money is not activated. Maybe it's because in night there is less income. So the arrow is red. On day the income is bigger, turns green. And the total of both is a plus. So you earn money but temp. it's a loss in the overview.

Hello, i have the same problem (not playing with unlimited money though; city size 25.000 p). It seems almost impossible to make any loss in the game. I've set taxes to zero for all businesses and citizens, some industries even get subsidies. All budgets for city services are on max. And still I make money. The governement grants don't explain the strange increase either. The behaviour of the money status does not seem to correlate with the monthly (or hourly) balance at all ! I wonder if this is a bug of if the developers made the budget model so easy on purpose so that money is never an issue and you can just anything all the time. For me, this is really annoying because I'd love to have that monetary challange in a city builder. Hopefully the budget will become more an issue when the city grows and/or there is gonna be a fix if it's a bug.

pst the background running of the game right now is fake.. or placeholder.. so like economy , traffic , export import, etc it LOOKS running fine, but once you look closer you realize it only LOOK fine but the game "cheat" to make it look fine

The RED arrow is only showing you that your making less than the hour before, it's not showing you that you are either earning or losing money.

Kinda pointless, but it's trying to show you the trend so you can see the effects of what you are doing.

Now I found, that when I create enough deficit, the money is actually going down for once.
But there's definately a bug, because no matter how high the monthly deficit is the money goes down just 1 $ per time unit (1 game minute or so). According to monthly deficit it should go down much faster.

I played for 6 hours and the arrow never turned green, but I still keep getting money
For me that means if I played for 6 hours in real life and the "trend" was always red, I would have to be bankrupt
That's not the case
So either the system is fake or bugged
