Garbage bug?

Is there an issue with garbage in the game? I keep building more and more garbage facilities of all kinds, but no one is collecting garbage from some of the buildings... Making districts does not help with this either....

I had just over 400K garbage production and 10-20K above that in reduction. Once I got about 70K people I could never keep up and I have 200K more in reduction than production at 80K population. I think the incinerators are bugged as a second stack adds 60% (15K) to reduction rate, but increases electrical output about a dozen fold.

Recycling centers are bugged too unfortunately. I heard if you don't put down any waste management and just export trash (for free mind you) it might help...Until it's fixed.

Landfills work fine for me. I bulldoze and rebuild them once they are full as a workaround until things are fixed.

if you have read their latest blog post, they have acknowledged the issue with garbage, and is currently working on it.
