Bridges are hard to make
Like the title says, making bridges in this game is beyond difficult. The bridge refuses to connect where I want it to. It really does not like to be straight, cross over water, connect to a road on the edge of the terrain and so on. Why is it so hard to make a simple bridge???

Like the place I am currently trying to build a bridge. There should be no issues building one there, but the game wont allow me to do so....

Have you tried playing around with the elevations tool for your connecting roads? In some cases when I’ve had to build bridges, I had to elevate the road a little bit (create a ramp) in order get the bridge to connect properly.

Building roads altogether is too hard, they have a lot of work to make it right in this regard. The height snapping of transportation mediums is atrocious and is a design flaw that should never have happened as it worked perfectly in CS1 so they obviously know how to make it happen. I've built way too many roads that don't snap to the existing because of height. And the fact that roads can't just build automatically over water at ground level is also a ridiculous issue.

It's not just bridges...

Thanks for tips! :)
I'm pretty sure I have tried most of these, and some things work. However I end up having a bridge looking way different compared to what I was going for. This would be ok, but not when it is obvious that the bridge I wanted to build should have no problems being built.

I really hope they adjust the bridge building mechanism!

But again, I greatly appreciate the response! :D

I agree that roads in general can be difficult. Hopefully we'll see some big updates in the near future (Heres to hoping) :D
