Disaster alerts?

Is anyone else only getting alerts over the radio for forest fires but not say, a tornado actively ripping through your city?

Yup, i got the forest alerts on the radio but not for a tornado that went past my buildings.

Yep. I just randomly spot tornadoes in my city and am like "huh... warning would have been nice". Or I just see the aftermath not knowing how long those buildings have been sitting destroyed.

The radio programs also incorrectly report on city issues, so I think there is a bug with how the game delivers data to these systems.

Isn't there a disaster warning building that triggers more alerts? I've not placed it yet so don't know what it fully does, it looks like CO bundled all the disaster sensors in to a single building (with exception of fire towers being separate).

There is but placing it down doesn't do anything it seems, and if you zoom in on it it'll sound the alarm infinitely
