GeForce Now
If you PC can not run the game, or keeps crashing, then you can always sign up for GeForce Now. You essentially rent an i9 - RTX 4070 virtual machine, and play over the internet. I tried it and it is much better than my local machine (i7 - RTX 3060). The game runs flawlessly on the platform. It is only available in the US and Europe and costs about 20 bucks a month (first month free). City Skylines is so under cooked as a city simulator you will probably get bored within the first month, and then you can cancel your GeForce Now subsctiption :)

I wonder how well it would run under the top tier sub?

Would love to see it run using the whole Tesla GPU

You can "rent" one from Amazon Web Services and try it yourself, all you need is an AWS account with a bit of history on it so they'll actually approve you for the p3.2xlarge instance type.

Or better, request a YouTuber to try. I know Wendell from Level1Tech had one to play with... Lucky!!

It runs smooth for me with settings on high. No idea what the frame rate is, since as long as it runs without stuttering I don't care. I do tend to build slowly so may have to drop some of the settings when the city gets huge.

It also cools my room down :steamhappy: so not using my computer as a heater.
