But the developer of the multiplayer mod for Cities Skylines 1 wants to have a look at it and maybe something is possible.
Odd. Runs just fine for me.
I just lost an 60h save because of save corruption. game crashed during saving...
I wouldn't trust any software, hardware, or, frankly, person with 60 hours of work without having a backup plan.
Also, no multiplayer is still a huge pro in my book.
Sure had auto saves enabled every 5 min 3 of them. but for some reason if one of those get corrupted you lose all of them, that was my main save and 3 auto saves now gone.
CS2 is very customizable, so literally everyone will have downloaded a slightly different set of assets and/or mods.
How would you be able to view a city of someone who uses a completely different asset set than you ? Those cannot be displayed on your computer.
However, the only functional way of multiplayer could be by using a trade market for all those kinds of goods which exist in the game and/or by having a giant virtual warehouse for trading on a centralized server run by Paradox.
