How do you build a bridge over a boat path?
On the map I am planning there's a predefined path for boats to travel. There's also a bridge that came pre built that goes over this path. I'm trying to build a highway to another part of my city but whenever I try to put a bridge over that boat path I get an error that reads "overlapping items". Raising the elevation and changing the angle doesn't seem to fix it. Any ideas?

Had same problem, fixed it by raising ground on both sides and then laying a bridge. You need to go pretty high

AH! I've gotten it to go. Thanks a ton.

What types of bridge did you use? Does it matter? Is there a bridge upgrade to buy so that ships can pass underneath? Do you know the exact height?

I've gone as high as 200M with the bridge and it wouldn't accept it. I've raised the land to about 120 and still couldn't get it to go. Any way you could make a screenshot and link it? Anything at all would be a help.

Thanks

i found that if i set the height to 40m and start by building one section over the boat pathway section, then join to that on either side.
