Crashed twice with 35 fps med settings 1440p (i5-12400F & 3060 + 32GB RAM)
Game just crashes or freezes on me after 1 minute of playing lol
I know we should give it time but I think the devs destroyed the game by having 30fps as their targeted perfomance. I mean I don't have the newest hardware anymore but this should definitly be more than enough to run this game on steady 60 fps. Especially on medium graphics lol. This game is honestly such a joke for 50 euro's. will be refunding if it doesn't get fixed in a week or so.

update, i crashed another two times... this doesnt make the game even run bad, it just makes it unplayable. I have to put the game on autosave every minute because autosave on 5 minutes wouldnt even save anything. the game would crash before it could even autosave lmao. terrible performance. remember, im not even playing on high graphics. i followed the extra steps that they recommended such as disabling certain things in the options menu, yet even on medium it keeps happening. I am deeply saddened ny this

Mine has also crashed twice on medium settings with a few things disabled. It was running super slow generally. My laptop is only about 6 months old. not sure how to fix it!

This is frustrating. Crashing also every few minutes, the fps is ok for me but 0fps is not.

You get 5- 15 and rarely 30 FPS. Its crash is normal. It runs very poorly. Your PC is suffering from it.

Update, crashed today whenever I would zoom into a house or neighborhood. Within a second of starting up the game, or when I would give the game a minute after loading in to fix whatever it needs to load more. It would still crash. Release day was horrible but today I literally cannot play the game, it just keeps crashing within a few seconds lol

I can run the game at 120 fps with my 4090 without going over 50 degrees but the game still crashes every 3 to 5 minutes even if no part of my pc is even remotly stressed. This is also an issue for a lot of other players so it's the games fault. Something just causes crashes randomly.

so your game crashes every so often as well? for me it happens mostly when i zoom into a building and then zoom out, but it also just happens randomly. gpu is stressed at 90-99% usage every single second when running the game. even with very low settings lol

i played for like 8-9hours straight the first day with no problems. now when i load up my save it plays fine for 5-30min but then crashes at random with the unity crash screen. does the same thing when starting a new city, still crashes after like 5-10min.
major update,

If the crashes are just the game freezing with no unity crash handler popping up, it may be your GPU core clocks being too high, even it they were set by the manufacturer.

I had my RTX3060 with overclock and it ran all games fine including Cyberpunk with ray tracing enabled for hours and never crashed.

But with this game it was freezing all the time. Turned out my GPU OC was not stable so turned down core clock by 1Mhz each time it froze. Needed to turn down like 5Mhz total and it's no longer freezing.

this was indeed my problem solve as well. Last effort i could think of was clocking down my gpu since it was overclocked pretty high. 300mhz+ on core clocks. when i turned it down to 0 there were no problems anymore. still didnt take away that the frames are low af but it doesn't crash anymore!

it did show the unity crash popup once every 3 crashes or so.
