all the game i name were release in 2023, except kerbal 2
kong was released only since one week
i am not confident in november city skyline will pass over 40%
because in my list only 2 of them are really small game, other are big game like blizzard, microsoft and kerbal 2 is supposed to have bigger hype than city skyline 2, the game is supposed to be more enjoyable than city skyline
i really hope paradox going to fix this game before console release
This isn't the internet's first emotional meltdown over a game launch. I remember Doom Eternal coming out and countless people whining and review bombing cause you had to use more than one weapon and actually prioritize enemy types. And then its second DLC was review bombed because there wasn't a massive spike in difficulty like the first DLC had in some sections.
Tempted to buy it here, do a negative review and refund it lmao.
With the state the performance side of the game is in it is impressive it has risen this quickly. People are much more likely to post reviews for games they had a bad time with than those they had a good time with. Atleast 100k people bought the steam version and played today but only 6k reviews. 3.5k negative reviews out of a pool of 100k players is hardly representative of peoples overall opinion of the game. If everyone was forced to review after playing 10 hours. I would say the game would be around 60% to 65% until a performance patch rolls in.
Think what you want about the game but the launch was successful. The launch day player count (not even including game pass) well exceeded and wasn't too far off from doubling the launch day player count of the first game. Even if the technical state was perfect and they released on consoles on time this was never going to sell a million copies on launch day.
FYI Volumetrics were reported to be bugged before release (I have everything turned on and still fine though), I'm playing in 4k but have amd sharpness sampling turned on, constant resolution turned on and a lowest value of 75% if you want a screenshot of my settings feel free to dm me if you think they will help.
PS. I cannot stream this game as my gpu gets overloaded and obs crashes. It works perfectly fine aside from that but if any of you are trying to stream this game whilst playing in 4k please think again!
Crazy!
I understand your point but your logic is flawed. People that bought the game (like myself) and found it unplayable are just as valid reviewers. That's like have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ car that fails half the time as soon as it leaves the lot, and then saying only the successful launches matter.
