According to their recent Reddit AMA, target FPS is 30, not 60.
Do we need to do a separate benchmark to see if playing the game at 30 FPS at native 1080p resolution would increase the likelihood that your PC can run a bit better?

30 FPS is a playable FPS.
If the community complains more, then they will agree to 10 FPS benchmark.

Which is fine with me. I'm just asking if the community should warrant a separate benchmark with the intended target FPS the devs are aiming for instead of the ideal FPS we wanted to aim for?

Not for normal people. 50 fps is below my expectations. 45 is really below my expectations. 30 fps is abysmal. Target framerate should be 144fps at worst. For rts 60 fps is fair but 30 is abysmal.

Oh, I see.
Well, other people will do that on launch anyway so it'll be fine.

Maybe if you're privileged, not for some people. (poor people)

Speak for yourself. Lived the past 10 years using only a 750 and then a 1050. I only got 60+ fps on a good day. Anything at or above 30 fps is playable. Below 30 however...

30fps for a deep simulator is totally fine. people saying it should be 60 or higher on a deep simulator (which CS2 seems to be) need to get their facts straight

The majority of people have hardware (1060-2060-3060 which is mostly low end) that can at the very least play games at 60fps ranging from low-ultra settings at 1080p, it is the standard in 2023, we have surveys proving this, Steam itself has its own survey for this.

The standard is 1080p 60fps, this isn't privileged, I'm sorry that there are some that are poor and bellow this standard but the vast majority of people can achieve 1080p 60fps just fine.

If your standards are awful sure which is fine you can be used to 30fps and stuck in the old days but in 2023 60fps is the minimum (Unless you're on console). "Deep simulator" or not 30fps is unacceptable, maybe you should get your facts straight and stop living in 2010? People don't spend thousands on a PC to play games at 30fps.

30 would be fine but not below.

30fps is playable but 60 is more comfortable, more pleasant.

Well that's not my target so I'll skip.

back in my day games had 24fps and we were happy with it. and it took us 15 minutes to connect to the internet. also we had good cartoons on the tv.

I agree with you when it comes to certain games like shooters and Rocket League. But, for a city builder, I'll be fine with 30 FPS.
