Will this be DLC heavy like the first one?
I hate that they released the first game with 10% content, then release the other 90% as overpriced DLC.

Any word on how much content is in the base game?

Why would they change a formula that works for them? Of course it will be DLC heavy.

Yes, they will be releasing DLC's over time. I love it, its like expanding the game and making it more interesting, gradually into the future.

I rather have DLCs than a stegnate game after a few years after its' launch.
Well the first game has 62 DLCS, imo this is absurd and when they intentionally hold back content to release it as a overpriced DLC the developer loses any kind of integrity.

I just wish the days of complete games at launch came back...

8 DLCs till June 24, so yes...

So you rather pay 300 USD for the base game? Its like saying that a car shall only be sold with extra everything, all luxary options must be mandatory otherwise its not a "compete car and the manufacturer loses any kind of integrity" :steamhappy:

Why would i rather pay 300 for the base game? You obviously misread me.

Intentionally withholding content to release it later as overpriced DLC ( and lots of it ) is just scummy. I would much rather pay a higher price ( 70-90 ) for the base game that releases content for free in updates... but i guess thats not going to happen thx

DLC for 600€ minimum... :sadcube::ccHappy:

Yea thats ALL DLC and that includes radio stations that no one buys... I have 24 DLC and have close to all the building content (stopped buying them with the announcement of CS2)

So its not as bad as you make out..plus I only buy DLC for a few £'s each time I only spent <£100 on all of CS1 for 500 hours of gaming on the best city builder available, thats decent.

Its an 8yr old game that still releases paid DLC... even sims 4 went free as a base game, and thats EA! Gamers like you condoning this is why the industry is what it is today..

Im in no way condoning what they do...how have you come to that conclusion...I was advising that you dont need to pay for everything they release and pay at full price!

be smarter about it.

Sims 4 is free but they make thousands on their DLC! Paradox isnt so bad...

Got a Tropic Thunder meme here. If they didn't make the DLC all development of the game would have ended 8 years ago.

Yes, because all games that dont have paid DLC's dont ever get any content updates...

So you want to pay £20/$30 for a game and have it in full development and free upgrades for 8 years?
I wouldn't want to be responsible for paying the wages at your game development company...tell you that right now....

Ridiculous argument...
