Benefits of preorder?
I was just wondering what are the benefits of buying the preorder, is it like a different edition or something or would it be better to buy on release?

Please just answer the question, I don't want to be told not to buy the game thanks....

You get a map of Tampere/Tammerfors and a couple of landmark buildings that sooner or later might see higher-quality re-implementations as mods.
In addition, the physical Premium Edition comes with all Ultimate Edition content, a steelbook and some physical goodies. Iirc, retailers like Amazon and MediaMarkt/Saturn sell these at a ~13% discount compared to Steam's digital Ultimate Edition now.

You get Nancy Pelosi's house district for one when you get that ultimate edition. And that's always a good sign.

you support a studio which delievered an awesome first game and show them in advance how many people are waiting... but too late for that now... wouldnt pre order now.

You get a few extras (which will likely be available as a small DLC in the future).
However depending on where you live, the price will be going up after release.

The landmark buildings are pretty awesome - saw them on a CO walkthrough last week. The Cathedral in particular is superb

Yeah the landmark buildings you get are great. It's not necessarily guaranteed to be a DLC later. Maybe for a short time. But yeah they look great.
