System Requirements
So I bought this before the system requirements changed. My PC can handle any game made prior to a few months ago. There are several titles released recently that it runs without issue. I was heartbroken when I saw the change in requirements and was forced to refund. I'm a huge Cities fan. I've played every City Building game set in the modern era since the very first SimCity game, I'm old. As it sits now I'll have to save all my pennies to afford a PC that can run this title. I understand the people that make this game want it to be something more than just Cities Skylines with better graphics. So I understand the need to push the boundaries. By making this title inaccessible to people without a top of the line PC though they are putting all their eggs in the graphics basket. I really want this game. I was so excited to play it. Now I'm just sick of the industry and their BS. Guess I'll be back in a couple years when those next gen computers are affordable. Sucks for me.

Just get a PS5 so you can play it when it comes out on that system.

Excellent advice! I've been a PC gamer for so long I never considered it. The way things are going in the game industry though PS5 would be a solid investment.

For Xbox and PS5, it's coming out spring of 2024. By that time he could've waited for the modders to fix the game for the devs lmao.

Also a great point. I guess I'll let the money from the refund sit until more develops with this.

You can do what one of my posts said, you could try the game on gamepass during launch for like 15$. Gamepass allows you to preinstall. If you like the game, you can go ahead and find the cheapest deals through gg.deals[gg.deals] and right now it's only about 33$ from a keyshop.

Just curious what are your PC specs? If you can play any new game without issues, I doubt it's any worse than my Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3050 and 32 GB RAM. I am bellow the recommanded, but I am still way above even the new minimum, so I hope I will be able to play the game, even though I don't expect being able to play it on max settings. So, I think you should still give the game a chance.
Though admittedly, I am a little worried after this video, but the guy purposely used PC only slightly above minimum requirements. Still, it has some interesting info, so, I recommand to watch it and then make final decision.

The issue is my processor. It's below minimum specs. If it were anything else I would just turn down the settings and rock and roll. It's a modded laptop. Everything has been improved except the processor which is: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11375H @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz

that processor is above the minimum specs...

Optimization is terrible. its not even a fun experience on a 3080.

I though the i7 mentioned in the specs was a 5GHz. The systemrequirementslab website says I can't run it.

if its anything like the first one on console it wont have half the stuff and no mod support. (assuming steam workshop will be an option soon)

"just buy a whole other $500 console and second copy of the $50 game again lol, what tf else should the devs do? Optimize their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game?"

hopefully RTX 2060+i7 10700k will be enough for high settings + 1080p

Well there is a solution but I'm not sure how to do it. Apparently there is a setting in my BIOS that turns on overclocking which would boost my processor to 5GHz. Not sure if I should do it though since it already gets hot when running stuff.

That is why CO are doing the console versions this time round so they can be at parity with the PC version
