Or better yet, get a refund while you still can.
You'll probably need to run it at 720p in a window at ultra-low to get anything remotely near acceptable performance.
I have a 2070 super and i7-9700, so we're in the same boat almost.
I think this game will probably be more CPU bound though, so the GPU should not matter as much.
As for how well it'll run, my prediction is probably a mix of medium and high settings will net 60fps in the early game, with it slowing down to the 45-30fps range for the mid-late game. But I would love to be proven wrong and the performance is actually a bit better then my prediction. But if it is much worse then my prediction then I think that's going to be a refund until they can fix their game lol.
"Cities: Skylines II is a next-gen title, and naturally, it demands certain hardware requirements. With that said, while our team has worked tirelessly to deliver the best experience possible, we have not achieved the benchmark we targeted."

Personally i will wait to buy it, if Developers don't do a full work at launch, surely i not pay full price.
Probably i will play it on gamepass.
Not sure how my cpu will handle it. I wish they give us settings where we can see what affects heavy on cpu/gpu/vram so we can decide what to reduce, like some other games have, The Last Of Us for example.
I think my computer might struggle with this one. Worried about the gfx card. My resolution is 2560x1600 and another monitor with 1920x1200.
I7-8700k
GTX 1080 8gb
32gb RAM @3200mhz
i think it will be more gpu bound actually.
