Need to be able to freely change Latitude/Hemisphere of maps

Title. There's maps that I would love to have with snow, but can't because of these arbitrary restrictive categories. More options is always better. Why not have a toggle? You can change any map to be European or North American in style, so why not Latitude/Hemisphere as well?

Using -developerMode you can access longitude and latitude.

B) Does it disable achievements?

As the OP said, there are some nice maps but with them in the Southern Hemisphere, it just messes my brain up to much.

a) starting option --> -developerMode
b) no it does not ;-)

It also allows you to control building speed, weather and to disable hair rendering of citizens.

Ok, so I got the Developer Mode going. How do I change the hemisphere? I clicked on all of the options and didn't see it listed.

No idea what your talking about. Sorry. All I know is I like some of the maps but I don't like playing with upside down seasons. Uffty said you can do it with dev mode but not actually how to do it, so I'm asking. How do I do it with dev mode? Or, do you know another way?

Right, and I've changed those and nothing happened. Do I need to click a submit button that I can't or something like that? For the record, I changed them to 47.2 and 11.4 to match what they are for one of the northern hemisphere maps.

It's how I changed Sweeping Plains to Northern Hemisphere.

When I made the changes I was, then I unpaused buy the season didn’t change. How long did you have to wait before it swapped? Maybe I didn’t wait long enough. Or what values did you use? Maybe I put in the wrong ones?

It was almost instantaneous. I unpaused and the sun moved across the sky.

I must be doing it wrong or putting in the wrong values. I tried again and unpaused and let the game run from Jan - Feb and it never changed from summer to winter.

same I just tried this and nothing changed. I unpaused and nothing happened. The numbers stay changed in the dev menu but map still shows fall in May and the trees are still yellow.

In the grand scheme of things, this is a minor issues, but it's one that is so annoying. Especially because they let us toggle things at start like graphic theme and which side of the road our sims drive on, this should have also been a toggle.
