how to follow people and cars in first person

ok what key is it to follow people or cars in first person like in the screenshots. lol theres so much advertised and monetized popular content with the internet i cant find anything on what button this is. and its not in the keybindings or anything.

Select a car. In the pop up info Window select the icon in the right down corner.

i click focus and still all i can do is zoom in not go in street view.

Wdym first person? If you want the camera to auto follow a sim or a car Just click one and in the info windows that pop up search for and icon similar to a pin (like Google maps icon)

I was just about to post the same question.

Is there a way to switch the camera view to the front of the currently selected vehicle? Similar to looking out of the center of the windshield. I just want an unobstructed view from the front of the vehicle.

I'm personally interested in doing this with trains. But other vehicles would be good to.

Edit: I should probably add that the auto follow mentioned above by other posters doesn't work. Because the currently selected vehicle blocks the view. Even in camera mode.

in the first cities skylines you had street view, the advertisements were showing off the street view for this one im trying to find street view or the ability to follow cars and people in street view you know not looking down or at an angle but level with the ground

Thanks for the video. I'm sure it will help people. But I'm looking for a way to do it a little differently. I would like to ride in front of the car (or train) so that the selected vehicle isn't visible. Kind of like a cockpit view. Without the cockpit.

I get it. I miss being able to ride around hands off with vehicles that go all over the place without a set path like taxis or police.
